The environment
Microsoft 365 Copilot brings AI assistance into work with tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Copilot Studio supports building agents. We begin by checking the products, licenses, and access your team actually has.
Copilot Chat, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio have different capabilities and licensing arrangements. We confirm the features available to participants before choosing practice tasks or scoping an implementation.

Practice on relevant work: prepare a meeting summary, develop a document draft, or organize information for a decision. Participants learn to give clear instructions, check sources, and review the result. Workshop length, group size, and follow-up support are agreed in the proposal.
Identify useful starting tasks and the information they depend on. Work with your Microsoft administrator on account access, approved data, sharing permissions, and practical employee guidance. Define who approves changes and supports users.
Map one recurring process, agree on the permitted systems and actions, and build or configure a scoped pilot. Where an agent is appropriate, evaluate Copilot Studio and the connections the task requires. Test review steps and exceptions before rollout.

Agree on approved information, access, review, and disclosure before the pilot begins. For an agent that can take actions, define what needs approval, where it must stop, and who resolves exceptions. Configure those limits in the tools and workflow.
RUDI’s RESPECT framework covers responsible ownership, equitable access, safety, privacy, efficiency and effectiveness, control, and transparency. Evaluate the result with the people who will use it.
Ongoing support can include accessible practice, office hours, workspace administration, or operation of a managed digital worker. The proposal defines the responsibilities and schedule.
